Take Me Home...

Hey there. My name is Kathy (Katherine, Kath, Kate ....whatever). Graduation festivities are through and life is begining to return to normal. Though the reality of college is sinking in more and more (espeically since I received a phone call already from my roommate to be). It'll no longer be the halls I walk, but the campus as for the second time, I return to being a Freshman (the first being in high school).

To honor the wishes of some ...and without eliminating this section of my site (which I feel is important for a HOME PAGE), I've listed GENERIC and BASIC topics, and have related them to myself. I realize it's not much, I'm defiantly not offering an autobiography, but at least I'm not neglecting to show who I am at all.

....so, if your at all interested, read on to learn more.

fave music genre: alternative, R & B, hip hop, dance party, oldies, some rock, classical, instrumental, I love the 90's ...but who can forget some of the great 80's music, classics (big band - swing music), country ...most styles I enjoy

I think I should probably explain the country ...since at one time, I was so negative towards it. I met someone in September of 1999, who would often listen to it. From my own perception of country, I could not understand why it appealed to him. So slowly a began tunning into the country stations checking it out, hopping to understand. Since that first week or so (it grew on me), I've come to enjoy the NEW country ...it's no longer how I use to percieve it. So yes, occasionally I listen to country. So much of all music is, but I call country good for the soul. I'm open for a wide variety of music, I'm never dead set on one style.

things I collect: Pictures, memories and momentous, family treasures, things of character that make me happy, poems and sayings, letters and e-mails of significance ...and unfortunately anything that ever enters my room ...it's a shrine to my life you could say. Others prefer to use the term, being a pack rat.

a thought on life: Every challenge or change we face in life is a journey ...every love found, every love lost, every birth or death, every move to a new job, school or city ...every situation which confronts us with something new or which forces us to re-evaluate our thinking, behavior or perspective. Our journeys are a process of self-discovery and self-integration, of maintaining balance and harmony in our lives. As with any process of growth and change, a journey can be confusing and painful, but it brings opportunities to develop confidence, perspective and understanding.
